Remote Cash Control (RCC) business is about monitoring and controlling a geographically dispersed Cash Smart Safes (CSS) network (CMN) installed at merchant locations, intending to safely store the cash collected from merchant commercial activities. The network is named CMN after the "Cash Management Network" concept description.
The "Cash Smart Safes" are intelligent electromechanical devices, capable of banknote (and optionally coins) storing. Controlled from attached computers, the CSS device is commonly installed in the back office of retail outlets with mid to heavy cash deposit requirements during the working hours and/or at the end of the business day.
The business concept assumes the retail companies (retail chains) to collaborate with a bank which recognizes the deposits captured by the remote smart safes, providing provisional credit in return.
"CashPartner", being the CMN data administration body, will monitor the cash smart safes network across the territory and relay/report to the bank the data necessary for the agreed business model between the bank and the retail companies.
